![]() Prior to it being added, you had to spend roughly an hour if you want to buy out the shop. Something as simple as bulk buy was only added after the game was up for nearly 3 years. Its also repetitive.Īnother thing about naruto blazing is that it takes them ages to address a serious problem or issue with the game. I wouldnt call the multiplayer mode a new game mode bcs its so fking boring and the mission can be done by clicking auto. Its the same cycle ever since 2nd anni with no new game modes. Every month comprise of tower that you use 1 team everytime to beat everything, emergency mission which is piss easy, super impact that comes along with the blazing fest banner, qualifier league(pvp) and kage league (pvp). The game had no new content AT ALL for almost 2 years. It was expected since after its 2nd anni when the developer essentially cut off communications with the players and lowered their efforts put in the game. Naruto blazing did not shutdown out of the blue. My point here is the constant flow of money might seem like this game is doing great short term, but if the spinoff series isn’t a hit and they keep burning through characters like this then we’re eventually going to have a problem of nothing to build off of that isn’t already in the game. The pace of the game and how expensive it is ($30 monthly pass like what lol) screams quick cash grab to me, and not a game that they made with longevity in mind. I’m worried because it seems like they have no care to save hype units to increase longevity anymore, and even on jp it seems like we’re getting super popular units constantly.Īssault mode meliodas and The One are arguably the most exciting characters that people have looked forward to, and we’re getting both this soon? 7DS as a series is not like Dragonball, we don’t have a seemingly endless cast of hype characters, and at the rate we’re going they’re either going to have to resort to re-release the same units with different colours or make countless OC’s. This is something that I don’t think Grand Cross will necessarily have to deal with anytime soon, but the pace of the game has now starting to really be concerning and not because of inconvenience/burnout. Bandai in general seems to be clearing out their catalogue of games for whatever reason. Sadly it probably was enough that they could have continued the game but they knew the game’s potential for growth wasn’t there, so they just shut it down. Blazing was making around 100k monthly (can’t remember exactly FG3000 made a vid about it and the sensortower earnings), that’s pennies to companies like Bandai. Still it’s a game that’s stood the test of time just because it makes ridiculous amounts of revenue. Dokkan no matter how much you like it, is a very outdated game and unless they do massive changes it will eventually close down. It just depends on the game they all have different lifespans. It still had a very hardcore community but it was not successful revenue wise. ![]() ![]() I wouldn’t call blazing “very popular” the games pretty much been on a constant decline. It is very sad and even though this sucks for F2P we should be generally happy that the game is getting so much content from the developers. I've played other gacha games which add content once a month guys and sometimes even once every two months. If the game gets a lot of new characters, quality of life updates and general additions it is absolutely a good thing. It is important mechanism to seeing how healthy the game is. It's bad for F2P, but it means the developers are producing a lot of content and the game never gets stale and the whales keep whaling. What are your thoughts on this and for the future of Grand Cross?ītw, just a quick thing to add, I think Netmarble making a lot of banners IS a GOOD thing for the game. It just comes to me as a shock that an anime game of this magnitude shut down out of the blue. They do a lot of collaborations that are again, very popular. Netmarble does original characters and they are very popular among the playerbase, so that is one way to keep content going after they finish all the anime and manga stuff. I think the one, actually two big things which give me hope for Grand Cross is that: There might be an announcement one day stating that the servers are going to be shutdown and that will be that. I just came to the realization that the same will eventually (even though I don't want it to) happen to Seven Deadly Sins. That's very unexpected as Naruto is one of the most popular anime franchises. I am sure a lot of you already heard that a very popular game called Naruto Ultimate Ninja Blazing is shutting down after just 4 years.
